Kua Bay
UH Hilo Home > Student Life Center

Kua Bay is a beautiful, remote white sand beach with crystal clear turquoise waters. It is the
northernmost beach within the Kekaha Kai State Park, and is also referred to as Manini‘owali Beach. When the water is calm this is a great place for swimming and playing in the waves. However, the surf does get rough during the winter months and caution is advised.
