Keikilani Lindsey CD Release at 'Imiloa

Location: 'Imiloa Astronomy Center

Big Island artist, Keikilani Lindsey, takes the stage at ‘Imiloa’s Planetarium on Friday, May 30, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. Lindsey will debut his first solo album Mele‘uhane (Spirit of Song) featuring eleven original songs as well as a haunting rendition of his great-aunt, Helen Lindsey Parker’s ‘Olu o Pu‘ulani. With a deep affection for the Hawaiian language, Lindsey lends a new spin to haku mele (Hawaiian songwriting) and joins a new generation of Hawaiian storytellers endeavoring to explore many untold tales of the heart. by admission.
