Lauhala Arts Exhibit

Location: Hawaii Preperatory Academy's Gates Performing Arts Center

Learn about lauhala fiber art in Hawaii and the Pacific, see weaving demonstrations, and meet the weavers, including Kona resident, master weaver, and "living treasure" Aunty Elizabeth Lee who is the founder and director of "Ka Ulu Lauhala o Kona," an organization dedicated to perpetuating the art of Lauhala weaving. Vendors will be available to sell or take orders for lauhala products. Please call to RSVP.
