A film from Uruguay in Spanish with English titles. An exercise in straight-faced humor laced with absurdly funny -- yet instantly recognizable -- characters and situations, Whisky travels into the world of the owner and proprietor of a sock factory. It premiered at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival where it won a Prix du Regard Original Award. Whisky earned rave reviews from the BBC, The New York Times, Variety, and many other esteemed publications. Part of the Global Lens Film Series. Free admission.

Judo Club: We have created a new RISO called the Judo Club at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. The purpose of this RISO is to perpetuate that practice of Judo throughout our community. Practice times and locations are yet to be determined.
