Film Screening: SKIN

Based on the true story of a black girl who was born to two white Afrikaner parents in South Africa during the apartheid era. In her racially divided homeland, Sandra's father struggles to change her political identity to "white" to be accepted in white society. However, Sandra, with her new racial identity still faces racism at school and struggles to be accepted and understood by whites, and her own family.
