			<title>Transit of Venus 2012 Activities at 'Imiloa</title>
			<description><![CDATA[<p>In 1874, King David Kalākaua invited the world to view Venus transit the Sun. The Transit of Venus is among the rarest astronomical phenomena and won't happen again until the year 2117. In Hawai‘i on June 5, 2012, visitors will witness the totality of the transit as Venus moves across the face of the Sun. Come and celebrate Hawaii's legacy of exploration and innovation at ‘Imiloa Astronomy Center.  On Saturday, June 2, the Center will host talks and educational activities.  On Tuesday, June 5, Transit Day, the Center will have special planetarium programming, transit viewing, hands-on activities, and viewing of the NASA webcast of the transit from the University of Hawaii Institute for Astronomy. </p>

			<title>Space Grant Fellowships</title>
			<description><![CDATA[<p>NASA Space Grant Fellowships are available for Fall 2012.  Space Grant Fellowships are open to any student in any discipline that wishes to pursue research related to NASA's goals.  The Space Grant Fellowships come with a stipend of $4000 and are generally renewable for the Spring semester if the student does a good job.   All applicants must have a mentor in their subject field.  Application proposals are due on June 15th 2012.   </p>
