This is the UH Hilo report. News about people, events and programs at the University of Hawai'i at Hilo.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2015 summer session, which begins registration on April 1. Session I runs from May 26 – June 19, while Session II will be held June 22 – July 31. This year’s summer curriculum will feature 171 classes with a little more than half available online.

There are a number of new classes that are being offered for the first time this summer. These include Western and Hawaiian Scientific Perspectives on Integration of Strategies for Food, Water and Energy Security; Global Sociology; and Natural History of the Kona/Kohala Coast.
