This is the UH Hilo report. News about people, events and programs at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo.

The UH Hilo International Student Association will present International Nights on Friday and Saturday, February 6 and 7, at 7:30 pm in the Performing Arts Center. The shows feature performances from many of the different countries represented at UH Hilo and is an annual favorite among students, the community, and visitors alike.

This year’s shows will include diverse performances from 18 different cultures, including taiko drumming from Japan, American hip hop, and dances from Burma, the Philippines, Micronesia, Samoa, and other Pacific Islands. Tickets are $12 for general admission and $5 for students, children, and senior citizens. The shows typically sell out so advance purchase is recommended.
