This is the UH Hilo report. News about people, events and programs at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo.

The UH Hilo Art Department is featuring two fall exhibitions. “A Snapshot of Serbia: Faculty and Student Photography from the University of Arts in Belgrade” is on display now through November 28 in the Building 395 Gallery on the Manono Campus. The 2014 Pacific States Biennial National will open October 1st in the UH Hilo Campus Center Gallery and run through December 1st. The PSBN is the longest running competitive print exhibition in the state and will feature contemporary work by artists from across the continental US and Hawaiʻi.

And Artist Willie Cole, a PSBN juror, will be In-Residence, October 1st through 11th to interact with students and provide a free public lecture October 8th in UCB, Ho’oulu Terrace from 6:00 to 7:30 pm.
