This is the UH Hilo report. News about people, events and programs at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo.

Registration is now underway through May 31 for the UH Hilo Art Department’s Summer Art Institute. The six-week program offers participants numerous opportunities to inter-act with world-class visiting artists and faculty, view special exhibits, attend artist lectures, and take part in focused art workshops.

This year’s session runs from June 23 through August 1 and will feature offerings in the areas of printmaking, mixed media, digital photography, and art appreciation. College students, community members, and upper level high school students seeking art experiences can enroll in the program for college credit or for non-credit as an unclassified student.
