The Pacific Internship Programs for Exploring Science (PIPES) is now accepting applications for its summer 2013 program, which runs from May 28th - August 9th. Undergraduate students of Native Hawaiian ancestry, other kama`aina, under-represented minorities, and first-generation college students are encouraged to apply for opportunities in paid summer environmental internships statewide. Participants will work side-by-side with UH Hilo and other agency researchers, resource managers, and environmental educators on exciting and mentored experiential projects.
