This is the UH Hilo report. News about people, events and programs at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo.

Registration is now underway for the 2012 summer session. This year’s summer curriculum will feature approximately 160 credit classes with 40% of the classes being offered online, several non-credit classes and workshops and two student activity events. Session I runs from May 14-June 8, while Session II will be held from June 12-July 20. Students can also select from a number of varied date courses which will be taught between May 13 and August 3.

Resident undergraduates can also take advantage of last year’s lower tuition rate of $248 per credit hour, which was retained in the new five year tuition schedule approved by the Board of Regents. The Board also approved special tuition rates for the Western Undergraduate Exchange and Pacific Island students.
