Public reading by noted Samoan writer
The University of Hawai`i at Hilo will host a literary reading by noted Samoan writer Sia Figiel from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 29 at the Campus Center room 306-307. The event is free and open to the public.
Sia will be reading from her works, including "The Girl in the Moon Circle." The event is co-sponsored by the UH-Hilo English Department, Humanities Division, and the UH-Hilo Samoan Club. Funding is by the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts through the Hawai`i Literary Arts Council.
