Re-telecast of UH Hilo's Native American Conference begins Jan. 6

Beginning Monday, January 6, 2003, the public is invited to view a re-telecast of the Native American Tribal Governance and Law Conference 2002 that was held at the University of Hawai`i at Hilo. The program will run on Mondays from 7:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 12:30-1:30 p.m. on Channel 55 for 10 weeks.
Attorneys Raquelle Myers and Nicole Meyers-Lim of the National Indian Justice Center in California covered topics on Federal Law and Policy, Tribal Civil and Criminal Law, and Domestic Violence and Child Abuse.
The re-telecast is sponsored by the UH Hilo Research Relations Fund, the UH Humanities Fund, and the President's Diversity and Equity Initiative.
