The College of Continuing Education and Community Service (CCECS) at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo offers an introductory screenwriting course with professional screenplay evaluator Adam Sydney, who has worked with writers in and out of Hollywood for more than twenty years.
Introduction to Screenwriting teaches the basic rules of storytelling, along with the formatting and craft of screenwriting. Participants are able to produce a first draft of their script by the end of the course. Classes are on Wednesdays, January 17 - March 21, from 5 – 7 p.m. in UCB 104. The cost is $125.
