The College of Continuing Education and Community Service (CCECS) at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo offers a pair of one-day workshops with instructor Hannah Wu to help managers and supervisors develop effective leadership skills.

Becoming a Successful New Manager or Supervisor: How to Effectively Manage your Staff to Achieve Instant Results examines various leadership models in a practical manner to help participants find the approach that works best for their particular team. Handouts and resources will be provided at the end of the session. The workshop is scheduled for Friday, May 22, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., at the UH West Hawai’i Center (81-964 Haleki’i Street, Kealakekua, Hi 96750) Building 5, Classroom 5.

Criticism & Discipline Skills for Managers and Supervisors Redefined: Successful Team Execution and Motivation will be held in Hilo on Friday, May 29, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. in UH Hilo’s Kanaka’ole Hall, Room 126.
