The Hale Ikena apartment complex will be open for students for the Summer 2013 session. A Kitchen with a range and refrigerator is available in each unit. If interested, a meal plan can be arranged through our food services provider, Sodexo, Inc.   Please contact Sodexho at (808) 974-7303 for more information.

Summer 2013 Assignment Priorities

Priority 1 — Current UH Hilo or HawCC students that have registered at least 3 credits and paid for UH Hilo or HawCC Summer Session.

Priority 2 — Students not currently enrolled in UH Hilo or HawCC that have registered for at least 3 credits and paid for the UH Hilo or HawCC Summer Session.

Priority 3 — Current Spring 2013 Housing Residents assigned for Fall 2013 on campus housing that are not taking summer courses.

Priority 4 — UH Hilo interns.

Students that do not fall under one of these priorities are not eligible for on campus housing.

The Summer Housing priority assignment deadline is on April 22, 2013
