Education Studies Minor

Students pursuing a degree outside of Education may minor in Education Studies by completing the following requirements with a grade of “C” or better in each course.

- A minimum of 9 credits (3 courses) must be Education courses, although all credits may be Education courses.
Notes:
- The list of elective courses is updated each year; therefore, students declaring the Education Studies minor should regularly consult with an advisor in the School of Education. The electives are offered by the School of Education and by other academic departments as well. Therefore, students may take only Education courses or may combine Education courses with other discipline courses to complete program electives.
- Up to 9 credits of ED x94 may be counted toward the minor.
- Three credits of ED x99 may be counted toward the minor.
- A minimum grade of C (2.0) is required in all courses for the Education Studies minor.
- Students can only enroll in this Education Studies minor or the academic certificate in Educational Studies. Students are not eligible to earn both credentials.
