The Distance Learning Coordinator maintains the UH Hilo Distance Learning (DL) website. On request from academic departments, the coordinator provides logistical support, and assistance with planning and marketing through the UH system distance learning coordinators and University Centers; coordinates student services between departments and the Division of Student Affairs; and assists with faculty development through the office of Instructional Technology and User Services.
Visit the UH Hilo DL webpage at hilo.hawaii.edu/academics/dl/. Among the resources on this page: a help page for students who are considering taking an online course; and a faculty resources page on online instruction. Contact the DL Coordinator for more information.
The Office of Instructional Technology and User Services (ITUS) website is at hilo.hawaii.edu/uhh/teaching/handbook/InstructionalTechnologyRev.php?l=8 .
