A University parking permit is required to park a vehicle on campus starting the first day of class during the Fall and Spring semesters. Parking applications are available at the UH Hilo Parking Office located at Auxiliary Services Building #300, Room 101. Permits are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. To obtain a permit, the following items are required:
- A completed application
- A valid vehicle registration
- A current driver’s license
- An owner’s waiver (if the vehicle is operated by someone other than the owner)
Bring the above items to the Parking Office with payment and verification of enrollment, such as class schedule or fee slip. The application and owner’s waiver are available online at hilo.hawaii.edu/auxsvc/parking/. For additional information, please call (808) 974-7784.
