Welcome to Campus & Community Service

Service-Learning is an educational approach that fosters civic responsibility through active participation in organized service that meets community needs. Students, Community members, Faculty and Administration and/or Staff collaborate to create meaningful learning opportunities.

What We Do

  • Service-Learning (earn academic credit for performing community service)
  • Community service events (Make a Difference Day-Good Neighbor Day)
  • America Reads & America Counts (earn Federal Work Study by tutoring children in reading and math)
  • Ameri-Corps (receive a Federal Education voucher by performing community service) auxiliary aids and services for students with disabilities
  • Assistance in securing admission and financial aid for graduate and professional

We strive to build strong community bonds on campus and off. Through the collective efforts of CCS participants, our campus and community has become a better place.
