Cultural Nights

Upward Bound had a theme this summer of "Music and Dances of the World." We spent one evening every week soaking up the sounds from another culture. And we learned MANY new dance moves...

Polynesian Night
The final cultural night was "Polynesian Night." Everyone came in Aloha-wear, chowed a meal of kalua pig, poi, long rice, lomi salmon and haupia, and then came the entertainment!
