The UH system offers two excellent scholarships; the Regents Scholarships and the UH Presidential Scholarships. Both include full tuition for four years, plus a $2,000 per semester stipend and a one time travel grant. Both require Hawai‘i residency and superior academic achievement. The Dorrance Scholarship Program, $8,000 annually

This program offers an amazing opportunity to seniors graduating from an accredited Hawai‘i Island high school, is the first generation in their family to attend college, and is admitted to the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo. The University of Hawai‘i at Hilo, tuition and book waivers
(Deadline: March 1, 2015)
UH Hilo offers the Chancellor’s Scholarship to approximately 18 incoming freshmen who are graduates of Hawai‘i public high schools. The award includes tuition waivers for four years of school. Candidates must have graduated from a Hawai‘i high school with grade point average of 3.5 or better, or a combined score of 1800 on the SAT (27 on the ACT) and have demonstrated leadership and/or community service.
