From Hilo:
On highway 19 (Mamalahoa Hwy), pass Tex Drive Inn and the 43 mile marker. Make the next right turn onto Plumeria St. Go ½ a mile down the hill and take the first right after Hale Hoola Hamakua. There will be a sign that says North Hawaii Education & Research Center.
From Kona:
On highway 19 (Mamalahoa Hwy), pass the 44 mile marker. Make the next left turn onto Plumeria St. into Honokaa. Go ½ a mile down the hill and take the first right after Hale Hoola Hamakua. There will be a sign that says North Hawaii Education & Research Center.
