Title:	Psychology of Culture & Health
Description:	This course examines research and theory on how culture influences the occurrence, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of disease in an individual. In seminar-format, we will explore behaviors and attitudes that affect health and prevention of disease in the individual and how they are affected by culture, such as cultural definitions of health, culture and the conception of the body, as well as cultural influences on attitudes and beliefs related to health and disease.
