Fitness For Life - University of Hawaii at HiloIn this one-day workshop, participants will explore the world of common insect pests and learn the signs and symptoms of their presence in your garden. You will learn to control pests chemically, organically and culturally as well as be able to identify (through show and tell) many examples of common insect and mite pests. Taught by Hawaii Tribune Herald garden columnist Nick Sakovich, retired farm advisor for the University of California Cooperative Extension and former Administrator of Master Gardener Programs, this class comes hot on the heels of several other popular gardening courses he has instructed.
